Insight

The webinars are designed to engage with NECCUS members and wider stakeholders around developments to mitigate industrial carbon emissions through CCUS, electrification and use of hydrogen as a clean source of energy. Each of these is essential if we are to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2045 in Scotland and 2050 in the rest of the UK.
The fifth webinar in the series focuses on the topic of Scottish Offshore Perspective – A Net Zero Offshore Basin and will provide the opportunity to hear from three different initiatives:
- Mike Tholen (Oil & Gas UK) – North Sea Transition Deal
- Kevin Kinsella (ERM) – ERM Dolphyn Project: Green Hydrogen at Scale from Floating Offshore Wind
- Chris McConville (Floating Power Plant) – Integrating Floating Offshore Wind and other Energy Vectors
The webinar takes place on Wednesday April 14th between 13h and 14h (BST) and will be delivered through GoToMeeting.
