Scottish Enterprise have commissioned Optimat to conduct specialist research and analysis to provide a robust evidence base for Big Data in Scotland, with a particular focus on:
- Assessing the current scale and nature of both domestic and international demand across data users/owners;
- Mapping the current capability and growth potential of the Scottish company base;
- Understanding value chains and how they are evolving;
- Learning lessons for Scotland from the approaches of other regions.
The outputs of which will be a report which can support the production of an action plan.
