Optimat will be delivering an interactive, online event as part of Explorathon 2020 to celebrate the annual European Researchers, Night, where everyone across Europe can find out more about European funded research from those actually doing the research.

Our Explorathon 2020 event will provide an overview of nanotechnology and why we need new tools and governance to ‚ ‘make it work for us‚Äù. The event will include presentations, videos and online polls and all are welcome to attend, ask questions and learn more about nanotechnology which is delivering more powerful electronic devices, clever ways of harvesting and converting energy, new targeted medicines, more efficient transportation and much more. This event is being delivered as part of Optimat’s activities in the EU-funded NANORIGO project which aims to develop new means of governing and assessing risks in nanotechnology.
