The primary focus was to undertake desk-based research that would provide a baseline position for the levels of digital / data adoption across the Scottish construction sector. This involved extensive review of multiple reports, studies, surveys and articles, before validating findings against a select group of construction business websites and other offline resources. The purpose of the second project was to conduct a supply chain mapping exercise, looking first at the wider industry and then drilling down into specific industry sectors and developing a database and detailed supply chain maps.
